Jewelry Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Manager

Job Summary:

As a Jewelry Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, providing excellent customer service and promoting our stunning collection of jewelry. Your role will involve assisting customers in finding the perfect pieces, offering expert product knowledge, and ensuring a memorable shopping experience. You'll work closely with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain the store’s high standards of presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a personalized shopping experience.
• Understand customer needs and preferences, offering tailored recommendations.
• Display in-depth knowledge of jewelry products, materials, and craftsmanship.
• Drive sales through effective product promotion, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor and display cases.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
• Ensure that merchandise is properly stocked, tagged, and displayed according to store standards.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, sales promotions, and industry trends.
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college or retail experience preferred).
• Prior experience in sales or customer service (experience in jewelry or luxury goods is preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with people.
• A keen interest in jewelry, fashion, and design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft 365 programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and confidently use point-of-sale, customer texting, and other internal software systems.

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds of merchandise
