Role Summary

Responsible for promoting Pfizer’s Vaccines portfolio across customers and channels in the assigned geography. This role requires regular in‑field customer engagement along with virtual engagements, launching new products, and managing business relationships, securing formulary access, and driving product promotion. The position emphasizes sales efforts, relationship development with customers, Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and requires strong product and disease‑state knowledge, sales skills, and digital engagement proficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
  • Engage with customers both face to face and virtually.
  • Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, and identify and implement live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize overall effectiveness and impact.
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments, using judgment to maintain engagement with digital tools.
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
  • Compliantly use product and disease‑state knowledge with approved clinically oriented information and patient resources.
  • Demonstrate market knowledge by uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels (Public Health, Private Market, Retail, etc.).
  • Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
  • Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly (e.g., entering customer calls, submitting expenses, responding to requests from sales leadership and internal partners).
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    Professional Sales or Promotional Activity, Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management; or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience in Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), Education, Full‑time Military, or related fields.
  • Must live within 25 miles of the territory border, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, and a driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify the applicant.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical‑related marketing.
  • Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
  • Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and products.
  • Knowledge of the posted territory customers and markets (prescribers, HCPs, institutions, organizations).
  • Residency within the territory boundaries.

Annual base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600. The role is initially a salary non‑exempt employee during new hire sales training, then becomes overtime exempt upon training certification. An additional quarterly sales incentive bonus is offered. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid vacation, holidays, personal days, caregiver/parental leave, and medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage.
