Security, Security Officer

River Woods Durham, a resident-centered Continuing Care Retirement Community in Durham, NH, is seeking a Part-Time Saturday Overnight Security team member. In this role, you will monitor building access, patrol interior and exterior areas, respond to resident calls, and document incidents to ensure a safe, secure environment. You'll collaborate with nursing and resident services, support emergency procedures, and provide courteous assistance to residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building access and entry points during overnight shifts
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the community
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident calls and concerns
• Document and report safety incidents, hazards, and unusual activity
• Support and follow emergency procedures, including fire and medical responses
• Collaborate with nursing and resident services teams on safety issues
• Provide courteous assistance to residents, visitors, and staff
• Ensure doors, windows, and sensitive areas are secured
• Operate basic security and communication systems
• Maintain a visible, reassuring presence throughout the campus
