Route Floater – Enfield, NH

The Route Floater is responsible for route coverage when another driver is unavailable to cover their route. This position also assists the Distribution Director with general duties, including ride-alongs, training, and route reviews.

• Load truck with product and equipment.
• Drive truck and deliver product to customers.
• Stock coolers and freezers in an orderly manner. Follow Plan-o-grams as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (uniform, footwear, etc.).
• Monitor foreign product, the general appearance and the cleanliness of cooler and freezer equipment.
• Effectively communicate order/customer issues to supervisor at time of delivery.
• Check vehicle for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the depot and throughout the day.
• Unload any returns and ensure the proper information is communicated at time of settlement.
• Cover varying routes on any given day.
• Conduct ride-alongs, route reviews and driver training when necessary.
• Assist Distribution Director in ensuring driver compliance to NEICC policies and procedures.
• Work in a variable shift environment, must have schedule flexibility.
• Conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects in interaction with customers and employees.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driving experience required.

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Must have schedule flexibility.

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach above head.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

Pay:
From $62,500.00 per year (Daily Rate)

Compensation for this position will be determined based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
