Position Title
HVAC - Workforce Development Instructor (Pooled Position)
Job SummaryThe instructor will develop HVACR training curriculum for apprenticeships, boot camps, and various formats, incorporating self‑paced, online, and traditional models. Align with credit programs and industry credentials, provide instruction for non‑credit programming. The instructor will also create industry‑relevant programs that facilitate apprenticeship placements and help completers secure unsubsidized jobs.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree (significant work experience/industry credentials may be substituted for degree requirement). EPA Section 608 Technician Certification.
Experience: Minimum 1 year teaching experience and New Jersey HVACR contractor license preferred.
Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related field of specialization. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use technology in education as appropriate to the subject matter. As applicable, certification in your area of expertise, or ability to obtain prior to first class. Please be specific in stating your areas of expertise and experience.
WorkHours
