Job SummaryCCM seeks enthusiastic and qualified adjunct instructors to teach
Spanish language courses. We are looking for individuals passionate about fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding.
All adjunct faculty positions have as their primary objective tocreate a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students,while contributing service to the college. Adjunct faculty responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and following the course description and course outline established by the department. Teaching schedules may include day/evening courses andonline/hybrid instruction. In accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement ( CBA ), additional responsibilities may include participation in departmental initiatives, such as assessment, and responding to requests regarding grades, grade submissions, and other course-related content.
Qualifications– Education
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Literature,Latin American or European Area Studies, or related field from aregionally accredited institution.
Qualifications – ExperiencePrior college or university teaching experience preferred.
Qualifications – SkillsNative or near-native fluency in Spanish. Demonstrated knowledge of language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
Familiarity with Blackboard and other instructional technologies desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Current need is Monday - Thursday, between 9:30am to3:30pm
