Infrastructure Support Specialist

Responsibilities

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.

The NETWORK ADMIN/PC SPEC role is a primary deployment and support role for business and manufacturing infrastructure within Howmet Aerospace's global manufacturing facilities.

Anticipated Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

• Assist in the implementation of Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Report all job‑related illness and injuries as per the employee handbook.
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EH&S training.

• Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
• Familiarity with system installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Experience in performing system upgrades, patches, and updates.
• Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to assist in the administration and maintenance of security systems.
• Ability to provide user support in accessing and utilizing various software applications and tools.
• Knowledgeable about IT inventory management and maintaining an organized hardware and software inventory.
• Comply with all guidelines detailed in the IT audit requirements for assigned areas of responsibilities.
• Pursue continuous learning consistent with the evolving job requirements and changes in technology.
• Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks.
• Provide user support in the business environment.

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
• Exhibits strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT‑related issues efficiently.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in work tasks.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in a technical support role or similar IT position.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export‑controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
