Production Worker; Foundry Worker - Weekend Nights Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

Howmet Dover Casting is a world‑class supplier of complex, investment‑cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries. Howmet Dover Alloy supplies vacuum and air‑melted nickel‑ and cobalt‑based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical and other high‑technology industrial markets.

• Midnight Shift: Sunday night – Thursday night 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM. New hire starting hourly rate: $21.58. After 12 months: $23.92. Shift premium applies for off‑shift assignments.
• Weekend Nights Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6 PM – 6:30 AM. New hire starting hourly rate: $25.00. After 12 months: $27.71. Training for 1st Shift Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

This position is responsible for deplating, dewaxing, inspection/wrapping molds for casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.

• Assist in implementing Arconic’s EHS value and policy statement and accompanying principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Report all job‑related illness and injuries per employee handbook.
• Report safety, health & environmental concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EH&S training.

• Remove molds from output dry tunnels, remove hardware and record mold weights.
• Load and unload autoclave & continuous dewax oven.
• Perform core reclaim operation when needed (Equiax Foundry).
• Perform mold wash/inspection/mold wrap and boroscope operation.
• Operate attendant equipment.
• Transport materials and molds as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Cleans and prepares hardware for wax assembly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of molds processed.

• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
