• Strong background in metal cutting/programming.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturing work instructions.
• Plan workforce utilization and process flow.
• Design layouts for equipment and workspace to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and design to ensure efficient production methods.
• Specify equipment, materials, and tooling.
• Evaluate products against design data and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production equipment with maintenance staff.
• Train shop floor team members.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with emphasis on Lean Manufacturing.
• Develop/alter CNC programs to support production.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate processes.
• Work with vendors to arrange equipment and material purchases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support plant objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years related experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong background in metal cutting/programming.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ERP systems, CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of G‑code programming, CNC controls, PPAP, GD&T, SPC principles, engine assembly operations.
