Driver​/Delivery Specialist

As a Driver / Delivery Specialist at Premo Cannabis Company, you will be responsible for the safe, secure, and compliant transportation of cannabis products between Premo facilities and approved destinations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to all state and company regulations governing cannabis transportation. The Driver / Delivery Specialist serves as an important representative of the company and helps ensure timely deliveries while maintaining product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Part-Time Driver / Delivery Specialists work between 15-29 hours per week.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and applicable business expenses.

Applicants must be over the age of 21 and consent to a State and Federal Background Check.

Delivery Operations

• Safely transport cannabis products to approved locations
• Follow all company transportation procedures and security protocols
• Complete assigned delivery routes efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all products are properly secured and accounted for during transport
• Verify delivery order before departure and upon arrival
• Obtain required signatures and documentation for all deliveries

Compliance & Security

• Adhere to all New Jersey cannabis regulations regarding transportation
• Maintain strict compliance with state and company policies at all times
• Report discrepancies, incidents, accidents, or security concerns immediately
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and customers

Customer Service

• Represent Premo Cannabis Company professionally during all interactions
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and customers
• Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules, delays, and operational updates

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving, delivery, transportation, or related experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass State and Federal Background Checks
• Ability to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the State of New Jersey
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and vehicle operation
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing, and highly regulated environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Full knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements to maintain 100% compliance at all times, including staying updated on any changes
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
• Reliable transportation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
