Smith Ambulance Services in Ohio offers a PAID Apprentice program that trains candidates to pass the National Registry Exam and become a licensed EMT. The accelerated six-week course runs Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with clinical and ride-time hours required; students are paid during training. Next class begins September 2026.
Applicants submitted by mid-August will be considered. Minimum requirements include being 18+, holding a valid Ohio driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED.
