New Grad RN Resident - Stepdown Unit

About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in the Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care while working with a compassionate team. This role is ideal for new graduates or RNs with limited experience looking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment.

• Pay: $34.17 - $54.67/hour
• Location: Dover, OH
• Facility: Union Hospital
• Department/Unit: Stepdown Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Rotating days/nights

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.
• RN moving from a non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area, to be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment.
