• Provide direction and support to unit staff and supervise admissions.
• Conduct assessments of patient's needs and initiate nursing care plans.
• Evaluate and document patient progress.
• Facilitate planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of nursing programs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
• Prepare schedule of work assignments ensuring adequate coverage.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Assist in orienting new personnel and in-service educational programs.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Experience: 2+ years of recent clinical nurse experience required; 3 years of med/surg experience preferred.

  Current RN License in Ohio;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; EPIC experience preferred; NIH stroke certification preferred.
