PRN RN - Same Day Surgery

About This Role

As a PRN RN in Same Day Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering excellent patient care.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Check and stock crash carts.
• Perform chart audits.

• Education:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Experience:
• 2 years of recent related nursing experience required for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered with approval.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required upon or within one year of hire.
