A Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, or machinery using wash bay tools and equipment. This role ensures vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, presentable, and ready for use while maintaining a safe and organized wash area.

2nd Shift is 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Wash and clean vehicles, trucks, trailers, or equipment using pressure washers, hoses, and cleaning agents
- Remove dirt, grease, mud, and debris from exterior surfaces, wheels, and undercarriages
- Apply soaps, degreasers, and protective treatments as required
- Dry vehicles and perform basic detailing tasks such as wiping surfaces and cleaning windows
- Inspect vehicles for damage or issues and report them to supervisors
- Maintain wash bay equipment including pressure washers, and hoses
- Ensure wash bay area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
- Assist with moving vehicles or equipment in and out of the wash bay when needed
- Dispose of waste water and cleaning materials according to environmental guidelines
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in wet and physically demanding conditions
- Good time management and efficiency
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
- Basic communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in wet environments
- Bend, reach, and move around vehicles or equipment
- Previous vehicle washing or detailing experience
- Experience working in a dealership, trucking company, or equipment yard
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and pressure washing equipment
