Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000

Key Responsibilities for the AR Specialist:
• Generate and distribute monthly tenant rent invoices in accordance with lease agreements
• Monitor tenant accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and manage collections activity
• As an AR Specialist, you'll post and apply tenant payments (checks, ACH, wire) and reconcile AR accounts in systems such as Yardi, MRI, or App Folio
• Maintain accurate records of tenant balances, deposits, and charges
• Collaborate with property management to resolve billing disputes and tenant inquiries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, preparing AR reports and supporting reconciliations
• Generate AR aging reports and provide analysis to management
• Support internal and external audit requests with documentation and explanations
Qualifications for the AR Specialist:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of AR experience
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
