Claim Compensation Overview
Annual base salary range: $45,400.00 – $74,900.00. The actual salary will depend on the scope, complexity, location, and candidate qualifications.

What Is the Opportunity?Under moderate supervision, this position partners with claim professionals to assist customers. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, completing financial transactions, managing business information, and handling various duties and projects. This role does not involve supervising others.
What Will You Do?Customer Engagement: Serve as a customer service representative for the claims department, promptly addressing customer questions and concerns. Tasks include triaging and routing callers, answering claim status and payment questions.
Claims Operational Service and Partnerships: Partner with claim professionals in multiple departments to resolve claims efficiently. Duties include documenting claim files, requesting reports and records, reviewing medical bills, mail, and wage statements, preparing claim documents for legal and medical review, reporting and assigning claims, transitioning closed files, processing mail, and ordering supplies.
Claims Payments and Expense Processing: Process and issue claim payments, including vendor invoices, attorney expenses, and medical processing fees. Manage returned, voided checks, and credits, ensuring timely and accurate check processing.
Data and Information Management: Maintain accurate records, prepare and review reports, update data discrepancies, and use management information for business and financial reports.
Financial Controls and Assessments: Assist with claim center financial standards, perform controls, assess data accuracy and reconciliation, and document findings. May involve lifting items up to 20 pounds occasionally.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?Experience using Microsoft Office, email, web-enabled applications, and database software.

High School Diploma or GED. One year of service-related work experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree.
