Job SummaryGibson Electric Co., Inc. - Make maps to jobsites.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Make deliveries and/or pick‑ups and complete proper paperwork.
- Ensure that project materials, equipment, and tools are delivered timely.
- Check and accept deliveries, noting damage on delivery slip.
- Distribute paperwork as necessary.
- Perform warehouse housekeeping as directed.
- Comply with ISO quality program and all safety plans and programs and work rules as required by company policy.
- Be able to comply with emergency deliveries at all times.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- EMCOR defensive driving course completion.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- State of Illinois Class C license.
- Forklift training certification.
Partner with others in the department or on the job site to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Language SkillsMust have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, talking, hearing, reaching, climbing, stooping, and may be exposed to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and weather conditions. Noise levels are moderate to loud. The employee is required to commute to site locations.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation Range: $42‑53K based on qualifications and experience.
Other Compensation: This position is bonus eligible.
