Project Manager / Estimator

The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for the full management of restoration projects, including the creation of estimates using Xactimate, project planning, oversight, and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of construction and restoration processes, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders including clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Major Responsibilities:

• Estimation and Bidding:
  Utilize Xactimate to create detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects. Prepare and submit bids based on assessments and projections.
• Project Scheduling:
  Develop project timelines, schedule tasks and ensure milestones are met.
• Resource Management:
  Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, manage manpower resources, and coordinate the use of equipment.
• Site Management:
  Provide direct management of project sites, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Budget Management:
  Maintain control over project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising on quality.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  Maintain excellent communication with all parties involved, from clients to subcontractors, ensuring transparency and effective problem resolution.
• Documentation:
  Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Estimator in the restoration or construction industry.
• Proficient with Xactimate software for estimating purposes.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, restoration techniques, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
• Computer software proficiency including MS Office, Outlook, and project management tools.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IICRC certifications in Fire, Water, and Mold restoration.
• HAAG Certification for roofing.
• OSHA safety training and certification.
