ARCO/Murray National Construction is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our Energy and Infrastructure team in Downers Grove, IL. Our Energy and Infrastructure team specializes in delivering complex, turnkey projects nationwide across markets including power, water and wastewater treatment, renewable energy, and other infrastructure-intensive sectors. Quality Managers at ARCO play a key role in supporting project teams from preconstruction through turnover, helping ensure work is executed right the first time, documentation is maintained, and quality expectations are upheld in the field and across project partners.

A DAY IN THE LIFE- Develop and implement QA/QC plans for assigned projects
- Project types include Controlled Environments Agriculture, Waste-to-Value, Manufacturing, Power Generation and Storage, and Water and Wastewater Treatment
- Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with specifications and codes
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors on quality standards across multiple projects
- Manage documentation of inspections, testing, and corrective actions
- Lead quality-related meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve quality issues proactively
- Assist in training project teams on QA/QC best practices
- Act as the bridge between design and construction teams; coordinate system design and installation with clients, subcontractors, and equipment vendors in a way that ensures the seamless turnover of a controlled environment project
- Serve as the technical engineering resource for the project team
- Effectively convey information to onsite superintendents and subcontractors using employee’s knowledge of the project’s systems
