** Brief Description
** The CNC Programmer II is responsible for all CNC programs for manufacturing equipment directly impacting the overall performance objectives for the company and compliance to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements and/or division.  This position significantly impacts Rexnord’s ability in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.  This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is a Non-Exempt hourly technical position.
** Key Accountabilities
*** Ability to write programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers.
* Horizontal Machining Centers including Macro, sub program and variable programming knowledge.
* 4 axis lathes, 5 axis lathes, Y axis lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers large and small* “Shop Floor” problem solving.
* Kaizen participation such as SMDE, VSM, 5s
* Maintain program library's and revision status of program revisions per NADCAP requirements.
* Hands on knowledge of the programs storage and the ability to assist shop associates in uploading and downloading programs

* Bachelor degree in a technical field desired or 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial technical field, programming CNC equipment is required
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
* Ability to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed business decisions
* Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus
* Excellent computer skills (CAD/CAM, Esprit, Solid Works, Master Cam, word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)
* Skilled in- G and M code editing, Macro style programming, multi axis function(s) and Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi CELOS controllers
* Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
