, the Project Engineer supports the Project Manager and site team in coordinating, planning, and executing construction projects. This role acts as a liaison between the office and field, ensuring technical accuracy, proper documentation, and effective communication to keep projects on track, on time, and within budget.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.

Coordinate between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ensure drawings, specifications, and documents are current and properly distributed.

Review and interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications.

Prepare RFIs (Requests for Information) and manage submittals.

Provide technical support to field teams, ensuring construction aligns with design documents.

Monitor work for compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project requirements.

Participate in inspections and testing to ensure quality workmanship.

Track and resolve technical issues promptly.

Maintain project documentation, including logs, reports, and meeting minutes.

Support cost tracking, change orders, and progress billing.

Assist with project closeout documentation, including punch lists and as-builts.

Work closely with the Project Manager to support project delivery.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.

Provide accurate updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

1–3 years of construction project engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Proficiency with project management and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
