About the Role
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the design and development of infrastructure for a variety of land development projects, including warehouse and distribution centers, schools, office buildings, retail developments, healthcare facilities, and recreational sites.
Project Engineer - Land DevelopmentLocation:
Downers Grove, IL
- Prepare engineering designs for land development and site infrastructure projects
- Design pavement, roadways, grading, and earthwork plans
- Develop water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems
- Prepare stormwater management, erosion control, and SWPPP plans
- Perform engineering calculations and assist with permitting and regulatory approvals
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely project delivery
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required; PE license preferred
- 3+ years of land development engineering design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
Civil 3D experience preferred - Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
