Work Model:
This is a fully onsite role, performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Role Focus:
Lead, coach, and mentor Manufacturing Engineering and Development teams across the Aerospace Division. Expose and implement process improvement and new technology solutions to improve manufacturing cost, throughput, lead time, and scrap.
- Lead cross-functional teams in quality, manufacturing, procurement, new product development, and engineering to troubleshoot problems and develop error-proof solutions.
- Provide guidance during design reviews to address product manufacturing issues such as process routings and machining capabilities.
- Develop and maintain metrics for Manufacturing Engineering, Development, and Programming departments.
- Oversee key projects that support manufacturing processes and new product development.
- Manage annual Continuous Improvement and Annual Improvement Plan for cost savings.
- Lead the Project Management Planner for all open and future projects.
- Identify, develop, and implement capital equipment that supports annual business priorities.
- Ensure process competency and audit acceptance for AS9100 quality clauses related to production process changes, equipment, tools, software, product realization, and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in metal cutting, grinding, machining, lapping, honing, or assembly.
- 5+ years in manufacturing automation systems, including conceptualizing, designing, procuring, and commissioning.
- 5+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Lean, 6S, DMAIC and other recognized Lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills from idea generation to implementation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with ERP manufacturing functions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management cycles and solve problems using root-cause analysis.
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $140,000.
