Job Description
This is a great opportunity to get involved with exciting and challenging EPC and Engineering Services Projects within various industries for career development and growth.
Responsibilities- Responsible for completing project specific objectives under direction of a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Specify, evaluate bids, and perform vendor document review for process equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers.
- Perform calculations for equipment and piping.
- Specify Materials for process and utility piping services.
- Attend client, cendor, and internal team project meetings.
- Perform field surveys to collect required field data and assist with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications in the field.
- Opportunity to lead the mechanical work for projects, including schedule, budget management and weekly reporting responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience working in the Power, Refining, or Chemical Industries.
- Experience applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to ensure compliance with design basis, and safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills are required for coordination with internal team members as well as Vendors and Clients.
- Willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.
- Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments.
- Strong desire for continuous improvement and career growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineers License
Salary/Pay Rate:
In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act, the expected salary range for this Illinois position, Engineer IV Mechanical, is between $ and $ annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
