Job Details
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

Salary: $95,000 - $145,000 per year

- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for construction projects using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure all designs and projects adhere to local building codes.
- Manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Utilize HVAC engineering skills to design efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Contribute to sustainable construction projects, demonstrating environmental responsibility.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous learning.
- Participate in project meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Monitor industry trends and technologies, identifying innovation opportunities.
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 8+ years of HVAC engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of IMC, IECC, and Chicago Building Codes.
- Experience in energy modeling (TRACE, eQUEST, or similar) a plus.
- Good understanding of ASHRAE Standards, especially 55, 90.1 & 62.1.
- Experience with sustainable solutions and LEED certifications is a plus.
- PE license required.
- Strong Revit MEP skills a plus;
AutoCAD skills required. - Strong communicator capable of interacting with clients.
