Mechanical​/Electrical Physical Designer

KCI Engineering Consultants is seeking full-time Mechanical & Electrical Physical/Wiring Designer, to perform technical work in support of Nuclear Power Plant projects.

Produce mechanical, electrical wiring and physical drawings, and review and incorporate vendor drawings into the overall project design including:

• AC and DC schematic diagrams
• Cable tray and exposed conduit layouts
• Conduct and junction box support design
• Conduit routing
• Electrical equipment locating/mounting
• Grounding Layout
• Mechanical Systems
• Point to point wiring diagrams
• Relay and metering diagrams
• Underground duct bank and embedded conduit drawings

• Extensive AutoCAD design experience on power plant projects
• Capable to perform reviews of mechanical & electrical physical layout drawings involving equipment outlines and interface points
• Experience and knowledge with nuclear power plant components and systems

• Experience - at least 5 years’ professional industry experience (position based upon experience)

• Advanced technical degree or related coursework
• 3D CAD experience
