Financial Director Job Downers Grove area,Illinois USA,Finance & Banking

This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country. It is Chicagoland based and also one of the fastest growing networks in the US.

Responsibilities

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Manage internal financial reporting, providing department-specific insights and guidance.

Translate complex financial data into key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making.

Lead the development of the company’s five-year strategic business plan and ensure successful budget execution.

Provide financial expertise and strategic counsel to management and decision-makers.

Assess financial implications of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures while ensuring smooth financial integration.

Analyze financial statements, recommend profit-enhancing strategies, and proactively identify potential risks.

Validate incentive compensation calculations in collaboration with relevant departments.

Prepare and present financial reports for internal leadership and the Board of Directors.

Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business (MBA preferred).

CPA or CFA certification is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial role, with required experience in healthcare.

Experience with IPO execution is a plus.

Demonstrated success in mergers and acquisitions.

Proven ability to scale financial operations and implement long-term structures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Expertise in financial analysis, GAAP, SEC reporting, corporate finance, and valuation methods for acquisitions.
