Manager, Order-to-Cash (AR) Operations
The Manager, Order-to-Cash (AR) Operations is responsible for leading end-to-end accounts receivable operations, including collections, cash application, and customer deductions, while driving performance visibility, process improvement, and cross‑functional alignment.
This role goes beyond traditional credit and collections management. It requires a leader who can analyze trends, identify root causes, and translate data into actionable insights that improve working capital, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Key Accountabilities- Lead and manage AR operations across collections, cash application, and deductions.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management for a team of AR professionals.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer and internal issue resolution.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of key processes.
- Own and monitor key AR performance metrics including aging trends and past‑due performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver insights to leadership related to working capital and performance.
- Oversee credit decisions and evaluate customer financial risk.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to balance risk and customer relationships.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across AR processes.
- Drive automation and standardization efforts across systems.
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to drive outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years in AR, credit, collections, or finance operations.
- Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- ERP experience required—Oracle a plus.
- Ability to provide guidance and direction to a team of Collections Representatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
