Job OverviewThe Sr. Equity ETF Strategist leverages capital markets, investment management, and product knowledge to deliver macro and equity market insights, helping to position products for institutions and financial advisors. The role collaborates with Product Development, Product Management, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Sales, and Marketing to grow the product line.
Responsibilities- Drive growth of the equity ETF product line in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
- Build and reinforce a brand for Invesco ETF products by presenting at industry conferences, serving as the 'voice' in media interviews, sponsored events, webcasts, etc.
- Lead efforts to develop and manage insights on the product line: asset‑class and product‑specific communication, product training and positioning, competitive analysis, market and performance commentaries, and content development with Marketing.
- Partner with Sales to execute product‑specific distribution strategies and participate in client meetings.
- Monitor macroeconomic conditions and equity market signals to formulate asset‑class views specific to the product line and translate them into actionable investment and positioning ideas for clients.
- Identify new product opportunities and assess the existing line for enhancement.
- 10+ years of investment management or research experience with strong understanding of equity markets.
- ETF and/or index product knowledge and relevant industry experience.
- Excellent written communication, oral presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to present effectively at corporate, client, and industry events, including large audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; able to build effective relationships across all levels.
- Self‑directed professional who can set objectives and work independently while seeking guidance as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA, CFA, CIMA, or CFP preferred.
- FINRA Series7 and 65/66 required.
- Periodic travel expected.
The total compensation offered will vary based on skills, experience, and location. Salary range for Downer’s Grove is $120,000 to $180,000 annually.
Location & TravelPosition located in Downer’s Grove. Periodic travel expected.
Workplace ModelEmployees are expected to spend at least four full days each week in an Invesco office, in compliance with the firm’s most current workplace policy effective October 1, 2025.
