Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Contract Assignment
Location: Good Samaritan – Cardiovascular (HART Program)
Scrubs: Provided
Parking: Free onsite
Orientation: Up to 1 week
Good Samaritan’s Cath Lab operates 4 procedure labs and manages 15–23 adult cardiac cases per day
. The department provides both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- EPIC – Charting
- Alaris – IV Pumps
- Pyxis – Medication Dispensing
- Zoll – Defibrillator
- Philips – Fluoroscopy System
- Merge Hemodynamics
- Datascope IABP
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
- Associate’s degree
- Active Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ARRT or RTR
- Illinois State License (IEMA)
- Prior EPIC experience
- RCIS (CCI)
- EPIC Cupid experience
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique
- Sheath pulling
- TR Band placement & removal
- Line securement
- EKG & cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with IABP and Impella devices
