Night Shift Schedule

6:00 pm – 6:00 am nightly with a rotating schedule:
Week 1 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday;
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. The specific night shift will alternate weekly (Week 1 → Week 2 or Week 2 → Week
1) depending on placement.

Role Overview

As a Data Center Hardware Technician at Ensono you will apply your knowledge of server hardware and data center operations to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks that support clients’ mission‑critical infrastructure. You will work hands‑on with physical hardware in data center environments, communicate technical information to colleagues and clients, and help ensure smooth, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and decommission servers, storage systems, and network equipment in data center environments.
  • Complete rack and stack operations, cable management, and hardware labeling following established procedures.
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware failures and performance issues.
  • Perform routine hardware maintenance: firmware updates, component replacements, and system health checks.
  • Support operations by monitoring environmental conditions and responding to alerts.
  • Convey technical information clearly with team members, clients, and vendors during hardware-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and data center security procedures at all times.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience with server hardware, data center operations, or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Understanding of server hardware components (CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, network interfaces).
  • Knowledge of data center operations including rack installation, cable management, and environmental monitoring.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and apply technical knowledge to complete assigned tasks.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in data center environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call rotations as needed.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+, Server+, or similar hardware certifications.
  • Experience with Dell, HP, Cisco, or other enterprise hardware platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
  • Basic Linux or Windows server administration knowledge.

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is  49,000 to  69,000 annually for a full‑time schedule. Placement within the range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive an annual bonus plan and an equity grant under the Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
