FOO Manager for Innovation and AI

Your Role:
The FOO Manager for Innovation and AI is responsible for designing and delivering applied AI and automation solutions that enhance operational performance across enterprise and investment platforms.

• Design and deliver applied AI and automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, or decision‑making.
• Partner with technology and platform teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.
• Navigate complex conversations and architectural design discussions with Information Security, Cloud Engineering, Legal & Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, and business partners to ensure AI solutions are auditable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Contribute to model deployment, monitoring (performance, drift, cost, latency), and operational resilience.
• Apply responsible AI principles including transparency, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, and bias awareness.
• Align AI initiatives with internal policies, compliance expectations, and regulatory considerations.
• Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate AI solutions, providing data‑driven recommendations for production readiness.
• Communicate AI concepts, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Strong programming experience in Python; SQL strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience delivering generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, RAG, prompt strategies).
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, data preparation, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with modern orchestration frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, AWS Strands Agents, or Google Gen AI SDK.
• Experience deploying AI or advanced analytics solutions beyond proof‑of‑concept.
• Familiarity with production environments, including cloud platforms and APIs.
• Experience operating in regulated or risk‑sensitive industries strongly preferred.
• Ability to align technical solutions to operational goals and measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., Lang Graph, Strands Agents) and cloud‑native AI services like Amazon Bedrock a plus.

Salary range: $165,000 – $185,000 (Downers Grove).
