Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for a System Administrator to join the team! As a System Administrator, you will work alongside senior engineers and architects to support, implement, and maintain Microsoft solutions for our clients. You will gain hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, security platforms, and endpoint management technologies while developing your technical and consulting skills.
This position can be remote but must provide occasional support onsite at our Downers Grove, IL office.
Qualifications- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and administration concepts.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and develop technical expertise.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can‑do” attitude
$75,000-$90,000 annually
