Are you a self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership and a "get things done" attitude? Are you effective at managing multiple initiatives at once, very detail-oriented, and organized, like to be busy and productive, learn quickly, and have a track record of being adaptable in a fluid, high-growth environment? If the answer is, "Yes!" then you may be just who we're looking for!

The Learning Technology Specialist owns the tools, systems, and content pipeline that power learning across AMN — with a particular focus on the LMS, learning analytics, and using AI tools to accelerate content and video development. This role also supports instructional design work, but the core of the job is technical: administering learning platforms, building reporting, and modernizing how content gets created.

AI-Enabled Content Development

  • Use AI tools to create and accelerate development of videos, learning modules, and other digital content
  • Support content development and content design for training programs, identifying areas for enhancement or new content needs
  • Facilitate course offerings when needed

Learning Technology & Systems

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the LMS, including user roles, course assignments, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Own LMS reporting and analytics — build and maintain dashboards on completions, engagement, and program impact, and use data to recommend improvements
  • Evaluate and pilot new learning technologies and AI tools, staying current on what's available and useful for the organization

Program Support

  • Support execution of learning programs and initiatives — defining scope, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors as needed (e.g., SCORM content, authoring tools, platform vendors)
  • Monitor and track training outcomes and learner progress through LMS data

Necessary

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in instructional design, educational technology, adult learning, organizational development, or a related field — or equivalent experience in learning technology
  • 2-4 years of experience in Learning & Development, learning technology, or instructional design
  • Required:

    hands-on experience administering an LMS
  • Experience using AI tools for content or video creation strongly preferred
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in the face of problems
  • Proactive team member with excellent attention to detail and follow-through; strong sense of urgency to drive results
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and push back on stakeholders when necessary
  • Facilitation or public speaking experience a plus, but not required

  • Scholarship for associates' children up to $28,000 per child
  • 1-month paid sabbatical after every five years of employment, plus $5,000 for travel
