Aerospace Solutions Our Aerospace Solutions group delivers high‑performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears, and electrical components for engines, flight controls, landing gear, and airframe structures. Brands include Shafer, Tri‑Roller, Tuflite, PSI, Rexlon, Cartriseal, and Micro Precision. We serve major engine and airframe OEMs, tiered suppliers, and global MROs through FAA‑approved repair stations.

Your role

As a Multi‑Axis CNC Manufacturing Programmer, you will create and maintain CNC programs that directly influence Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager in a Non‑Exempt hourly technical position.

What you’ll do Author, optimize, and prove‑out programs to machine intricate aerospace parts to tight tolerances across multiple axes and machining centers.

Program Horizontal Machining Centers, leveraging macros, subprograms, and variable logic to drive repeatable performance.

Develop and support 4‑axis and 5‑axis lathe operations, Y‑axis lathes, and both large and small Vertical Machining Centers.

Troubleshoot on the shop floor, partnering with machinists to resolve issues quickly.

Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) efforts including SMDE, VSM, and 5S.Maintain program libraries and revision control to NADCAP standards.

Assist operators with program storage, upload, and download processes.

What you bring

Background consistent with federal export control limitations; this role may be restricted to U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted U.S. asylum or refugee status) or to those who can obtain an applicable license.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred; alternatively, 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial environments with CNC programming experience.

At least 5 years in a fast‑paced production setting.

Ability to extract, interpret, and act on critical data to drive decisions.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.

Strong CAD/CAM proficiency (e.g., Esprit, Mastercam, Solid Works) and general computing skills.

Depth in G & M code editing, macro‑style programming, multi‑axis functions, and Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi CELOS controllers.

Demonstrated project/time management, self‑direction, and the ability to influence without authority in a team setting.

Compensation: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
