Production Operator - Entry

Compensation

Base rate per hour: $21.00

Shift

3rd shift, generally starts as early as 9:45 PM until finish. Overtime and weekend work as needed. Good attendance and punctuality required.

Job Summary / Duties

Responsibilities include operating, setting up, and adjusting the Moulder, maintaining proper molding of dough, lifting up to 15 lbs, keeping conveyors, following HACCP/CTS/GMP/JSA standards, assisting other Line 3 positions, operating the Pan Feeder, and other tasks as requested. May also be assigned to various makeup and packaging positions such as Makeup helper, Break Lunch Relief, Moulder Operator, Divider Operator, Oven Operator, Lidder, Pan Operator/Pan Area, Slicer/Feeder, Bagger, Caser, or Packaging helper.

Responsibilities involve monitoring bags, quality of product and packaging, speed, manual dexterity, bending, lifting, and operating the bagger and kwik‑lok machines, case product, ensuring proper packaging and quality checks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong decision making and communication skills.
  • Food safety awareness and compliance with HACCP, CTS, SOP, Safety, GMP, and JSA procedures.
  • Formula control and label management expertise.
  • Maintain 5S cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Education/Experience

Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Use hands, fingers, arms to manipulate products.
  • Walk, stoop, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads on wheeled dollies.
Work Environment

Near moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, high noise, forklift traffic, wet environments. Must comply with safety regulations and use prescribed safety equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
