Shipping​/Receiving & Materials Handling Supervisor

Work Model:
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Responsible for supervision and execution of shipping, receiving, and stockroom area duties in the Regal Rexnord Aerospace Downers Grove, IL plant.

Complete knowledge and understanding of all duties and responsibilities related to the stockroom, shipping, and receiving departments in an Aerospace capacity. This position requires the ability to use, understand and work with a multitude of paperwork such as packing slips, purchase orders, requisitions, process sheets, and any special instructions.

• Supervise a current staff of six team members in Shipping, Receiving, Component and Raw Stockrooms. Manage work schedules and adjust manpower requirements throughout the various departments to maintain flow. Authorize overtime as required.
• Act as a player/coach for the shipping/receiving/warehousing team to assist in executing the team's daily/weekly/monthly standard work tasks.
• Assist and coordinate various streamlining projects within areas of responsibility, including conformance to department 5S standards while conforming to safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve various operating difficulties to ensure that product is moved as required.
• Complete performance evaluations, maintain discipline and handle grievances. Interview and recommend salary increases as well as the hiring, promotion and termination of department staff. Create requisitions and order all supplies required for the warehouse area.
• Oversee the operations of the following duties and assist as required:

• Shipping
  :
  Maintain shipments including finished products, international and domestic, outside processing, and MRO orders following shipping dates and schedules on a daily basis. Pack and prepare shipments in accordance with Rexnord and customer related requirements. Perform shipping functions via specified shipment methods and carriers. Utilize shipping systems including UPS Online Pro and Fed Ex, and respective transit times and tracking processes.
• Receiving
  :
  Process UPS, common carrier, and raw material deliveries on a daily basis. Perform verification, count and receipt of various products including purchased parts, outside processing, MRO orders and raw materials. Move product to various departments. Ensure the receipt of the raw materials area by providing required manpower to unload bar and flat stock from the truck and store in proper location.
• Stockroom
  :
  Issue and pull orders (production and non-production) based on shop order dates and schedules. Perform receipt, issue, count verification, and labeling of various products into and out of the stockroom including purchased parts, manufactured items, and packaging material. Perform cycle counts/inventory accuracy verifications as required.
• Cycle Count Program
  :
  Responsible for the facility cycle counting program including managing the day to day counts, obtaining approvals for variances, maintaining appropriate records, and ensuring the number of counts are performed to meet corporate objectives.
• Assist in all areas as required
• Follow quality and safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

• This position requires the applicant to be a US Person with a US permanent residence. A US Person is a US Citizen or Green card holder.
• 5+ years experience in shipping, receiving and stockroom.
• At least 3 years of prior supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
• Cycle counting experience required.
• Four year degree a plus.
• Demonstrated ERP system experience.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills using lean methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail oriented and data driven.
• Moderate physical demand - frequently lifting or moving average weight material or occasionally lifting or moving heavy weight material.

Expected Base Salary Range: [$60,000 - $75,000]

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's basepaycompensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,education and internal peer compensationcomparisons among other potential factors.
