Precision Gear Hobbing & Shaping Trainee
Location:
Downer's Grove, IL Department:
Hobbing & Shaping (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Role Snapshot Hands-on apprenticeship focused on precision gear machining
Learn hobbing and shaping operations with experienced mentors
Union position with strong long-term growth potential
Compensation & Shift Hourly: $20.00–$26.00 (commensurate with experience)
Shift Differential: +10% for 2nd shift
Schedule:
Night shift
What You’ll DoTrain directly on specialized hobbing and shaping equipment
Develop core machining skills for aerospace applications
Work side-by-side with senior machinists to learn best practices
