Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Unit 30
Location: Downers Grove, IL
A 32-bed Cardiac Unit specialized in patients with complex heart conditions including acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, post–cardiac cath and procedural care, and post–cardiac surgery recovery. Our nurses provide continuous cardiac monitoring with patient ratios of 4–5, collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care. The team culture is supportive with a shared commitment for optimal cardiac nursing care while also providing a truly extraordinary patient experience.
Requirements- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and clear communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Base compensation within the pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
- Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on role
