- Assist nurses by performing various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- Dress, groom, bathe, feed, answer call lights, assist in toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, assist patients in wheelchairs, transport, turn bedridden patients, report patient changes, and dispose of trash.
- Must have certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant; mandatory compliance with Standards of Practice.
- Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care.
- Clean rooms and change bed linens.
- Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration rate.
- Administer medication as directed by Physician or Nurse and document dosage and time given.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
- Must hold mandatory certification as mandated by state licensure (CNA or Home Health Care Aide).
- Must have completed a recognized home care aide training program or have at least 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
- Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting, may be expected to lift up to 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, walk for periods of time, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.

USD $20.00 – $22.00 / Hour
