Work Model:
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Working hours:
8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
- Ensure strict adherence to Company Safety and Work rules.
- Perform inspection operations in Final Inspection, Heat Treat Inspection, Plating Inspection, Receiving QC Inspection, Pre/Post OSP Inspection, In‑Process Inspection, and First Article Inspection.
- Create non‑conformance documentation (NCRs) for discrepancies and remove discrepant material from production areas.
- Maintain and support SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics in all assigned areas.
- Ensure all quality requirements and procedural compliance, defect reporting, and paperwork are followed.
- Liaise between production associates and quality requirements.
- Maintain inspection data and coordinate with the Quality team for efficient workflow.
- Provide absenteeism coverage to meet production requirements.
- Escalate production and assembly quality issues or work stoppages promptly.
- Set up and adjust gauges, conduct periodic verifications, and work with quality engineering on new or modified gauging.
- Assist manufacturing area in troubleshooting and resolving gauging issues.
- U.S. Person with U.S. permanent residence (Citizen or Green Card holder).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing accountability.
- 2–3 years of Aerospace DSQR experience preferred.
- ASQ Certified CQT; CMI a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of AS9102 (FAI) First Article Inspection process and quality planning tools (SPC, GR&R, Cpk, GD&T, DMAIC, First Piece Inspection, cost of quality).
- Understanding of aviation industry compliance standards, including ISO, AS 9000, ISO 10012, AS9100, ISO
9001, FAA FAR regulations. - Strong calibration and metrology systems knowledge, including development, improvement, and approval of gauging methodologies and designs.
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, blueprint interpretation, and process capability analysis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math aptitude.
- Working knowledge of engineering part drawings and metallurgy basics.
- Proficiency in time and project management.
- Training and experience in Microsoft Office 2000 or newer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively during the shift.
