Overview

Job Type: Per Required Need.

Work Location:

Market — SS — IL — Downers Grove. Travel up to 90 miles from home (average). Pay: $17.50 per hour. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, weekends not required.

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Field Service Representative to support leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. Responsibilities include installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following plan‑o‑grams and client‑specific directives.

The role requires independence, meeting deadlines, and efficient use of mobile applications and technology. Strong communication and organizational skills must be demonstrated to manage store‑level relationships and ensure top‑quality execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and remain responsible for consistent communication with field services management within 24 hours of contact.
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys associated with each job before leaving the site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms/ client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and installations involving a team of 2+ people, providing feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines associated with accurate timecard submission, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate in and complete training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
Scheduling & Planning

Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; early‑morning hours and/or holidays may be required. Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.

Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, retailers, and field representatives to foster communication.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company.
  • Set a high standard for behavior and foster a positive work environment.
  • Communicate transparently and respectfully with all team members.
  • Work across all aspects of the company and through cross‑functional processes to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved per established shared service field KPIs.
  • Open to providing and receiving feedback.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older (insurance requirements).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Flexible availability Monday‑Friday; weekend and holiday attendance as needed; early‑morning and late‑night availability as required.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
  • Climb ladders up to 10 feet.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and environments.
  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email.
  • Use a smartphone for clocking, photo upload, downloading apps, and internet connectivity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Preferred experience:

    installation and merchandising, proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to follow planograms.
  • Own an Android or Apple mobile device.
  • Navigate communication platforms and apps independently.
  • Complete all training assignments within designated timelines.
  • Work collaboratively and autonomously with excellent time‑management and reporting skills.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; reliable transportation.
