Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home, on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule: Work Monday–Friday. Weekends are not required.

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to join our team representing leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you’ll execute a wide range of in‑store tasks, including:

  • Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps
  • Performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs
  • Following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives

Work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly (within 24 hours) to field services management communications.
  • Maintain accurate availability and job completion status.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms and surveys for each job before leaving the site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations of 2+ people, providing solution feedback.
  • Use virtual software and ensure successful task execution and timelines.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Submit accurate timecards, report anomalies daily.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate in training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as required.
Scheduling & Planning
  • Hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends and early mornings.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
Project Execution
  • Follow all directives and execute tasks fully and completely.
  • Work closely with the shared services team to achieve goals and identify improvement opportunities.
Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the team, markets, clients, retailers, and stakeholders.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Work
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong leadership while representing the company.
  • Set high standards for behavior, foster positive work environment, and ensure respectful communication.
  • Work across all company aspects to ensure alignment and operational success.
Customer & Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction meets or improves upon KPIs set by field management.
  • Provide and receive feedback openly.
Qualifications Age / Eligibility
  • Must be 18 or older (insurance requirements).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Availability
  • Flexible Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Early morning and late‑night availability as required.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
Physical Abilities
  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Can kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, grasp, and reach overhead.
Adaptability
  • Adjust to evolving tasks and work environments.
Communication Skills
  • Effective communication primarily via phone, text, and email.
  • Use a smartphone for clocking, photos, uploading, and internet connectivity.
  • Respond within 24 hours of contact with field services management.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial.
Experience Preferred
  • Installation and merchandising experience.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Follow planograms and secondary communication.
Technology
  • Own Android or Apple device to upload photos and data.
  • Navigate communication platforms independently.
