What is it like to be a Cleaning Technician/Restoration Technician at Service Master DSI?

Service Master DSI is the largest Service Master franchise in the world. We provide restoration in Downers Grove, IL and surrounding areas. We are looking for a skilled carpet, tile, upholstery and air duct cleaning technician. Must have experience and knowledge on cleaning carpet, tile and grout, upholstery and air duct cleaning. Must also have knowledge using a portable or truck mounted unit.

Cross training will be provided as a Restoration Technician in water, fire, and mold during slower working times.

Job assignments can include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning.

As a Cleaning Technician/Restoration Technician, your role on the Team is to:

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Become proficient in upsells and maintaining a client base. We love repeat clients!
• Handle job assignments that may include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, mold abatement, vandalism cleanup, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning.

• Carpet, Tile & Grout, Upholstery Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning
• Usage of portable or truck mounted unit
• Good communication skills
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Must pass drug and background check
• Previous restoration experience is a plus
