Carpet/Floor/Upholstery/Air Duct Cleaning Technician - Restoration Technician

Service Master DSI is the largest Service Master franchise in the world. We provide restoration services in Downers Grove, IL and surrounding areas. We are looking for a skilled carpet, tile, upholstery and air duct cleaning technician.

• Drive a company vehicle to customer‑designated locations.
• Perform cleaning of carpet, tile, grout, upholstery and air ducts using portable or truck‑mounted units.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed federal, state, local regulations and company/customer quality standards while providing world‑class customer service.
• Cross‑train as a Restoration Technician in water, fire, and mold mitigation during slower work periods.
• Complete specialty mitigation services including light demolition, water extraction, mold abatement, vandalism clean‑up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move‑outs and pack‑ins, and content cleaning.
• Promote upsells and maintain a client base to encourage repeat business.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing PPE and using safety tools to ensure a safe work environment.

• Experience and knowledge in cleaning carpet, tile, grout, upholstery and air ducts.
• Proficiency with portable or truck‑mounted cleaning units.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass drug and background check.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.

Hourly rate $20.00 – $25.00 plus overtime and commission opportunities.
