We are seeking a Floor Installer to join our team! As a Floor Installer, you will be traveling to different job sites, discussing the floor needs with clients, and advising clients on the best product and installation based on their needs. You will also be accurately measuring each room, determining the amount of flooring needed for the space, and using best practices to lay each type of flooring to provide a beautiful, safe final product.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction, is interested in learning how to lay multiple types of flooring, and can work well within a team environment. As an installer you will be going to different job sites. The beginning of the day starts mostly in Downers Grove.

• Look at a room and determine the flooring needs, including the type of underlay required for the material used
• Measure rooms and spaces to determine the amount of flooring needed to complete the project
• Work safely and cleanly on the job site, following best practices from both the company and the flooring manufacturer
• Lay multiple types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, LVP, grinding and polishing concrete, and more

• Previous construction experience desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to regularly lift and move heavy objects, and work on your hands and knees
• Strong customer service skills
• Interest in learning new techniques and the ability to adapt to different environments
• Ideal 6 month or more experience
