Description
TEKsystems is seeking an individual responsible for database object design, development, and maintenance for the enterprise application data model, as well as database administration in the Azure Cloud for one of our customers. This full‑time opportunity requires hands‑on ability in both T‑SQL and SQL coding, SQL Server database administration, and strong Azure cloud knowledge.
Role Overview50% DBA and 50% engineering within Azure. Must know how to build and scale packages in preparation for moving to the Palantir platform. Python is highly preferred, as is Azure Data Factory (ADF).
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain database objects for the enterprise application data model. Administer SQL Server databases in Azure. Build and scale packages to support migration to Palantir. Establish CI/CD pipelines in Azure and work with Azure Data Factory.
Qualifications / Skills- Hands‑on experience with T‑SQL and SQL coding
- SQL Server database administration
- Strong Azure cloud knowledge
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and CI/CD
- Python proficiency (preferred)
Permanent position based out of Downers Grove, IL. Hybrid workplace.

- Dental PPO plan surgical periodontics benefit coverage increased to 80%.
- Maintenance choice has been added to our CVS pharmacy benefit.
- Health Care FSA maximum is $3,400; rollover is $40 minimum to $680 maximum.
- HSA maximum for enrollees of the Health Savers medical plan is $4,400 individual/$8,750 if you cover your spouse or child(ren). Add $1,000 if you are age 55+.
- 401(k) maximum employee deferral:
- $24,500
- $32,500 if age 50‑59 or 64+ in 2026
- $35,750 if age 60‑63 in 2026
- Starting in 2026, employees earning more than $150,000 in the previous year who are age 50 or older must make their 401(k) catch‑up contributions as Roth contributions.
