Temporary PD & Costing Specialist

Summary

The Temporary Product Development & Costing Specialist will support product development costing by communicating with vendors and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate cost data throughout development stages. This on-site role in Downey, CA focuses on analyzing cost sheets, building cost libraries, and preparing costing reports to inform sourcing and production decisions.

• Review tech packs and BOMs to provide vendors with costing information
• Request and track cost sheets and updates from vendors at all development stages
• Review and analyze cost sheets and organize cost comparisons across vendors and categories
• Communicate with sourcing vendors and mills regarding development and cost issues
• Maintain and build cost libraries by season, division, category, and vendor
• Prepare costing reports at development, adoption, and final costing stages
• Maintain cost sheets in Full Circle and communicate cost updates to cross-functional teams
  
  Collaborate with the technical team to prioritize internal sample room workflow

• Minimum of 4+ years in product development with expertise in costing
• Strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, pre-production, and production coordination
• Highly proficient in Excel for maintaining cost sheets and creating cost reports
• Full Circle experience is a plus
• Highly organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent judgment, sense of urgency, follow-through, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
