Our Lady of Perpetual Help Dual Language Immersion School, a Catholic dual language immersion elementary school, is seeking a dedicated kindergarten and first grade English instructional aide for the  school year. The purpose of the position is to support the kindergarten and first grade English teacher in their instruction and formation of the students. The successful candidate will help drive the mission of the school to "educate the whole child through academic excellence and challenge students to be life-long learners and faith filled Catholics who are dedicated to service."

The primary responsibilities are below:

• support instruction of the teacher
• work with small groups or individual students to provide intervention or extension, as directed by the classroom teacher
• support student behavior in the classroom
• supervise K-8 students during recess and lunch

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30 pm

Required:

• High School Diploma
• VIRTUS trained

Preferred:

• 12 Early Childhood Education Credits
• Experience working with young children or in a school setting
• Interest in going into teaching profession

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
